Sinds mijn ongeluk ben ik veel aan het haken. dit is heerlijk ontspannend omdat zitten zeker in het begin nog niet lang lukte. Een van mijn laatste projectjes is cadeautje

De nieuwe uitdaging op het papercabana blog was 3 d. Ik heb er voor gekozen om een 3 d kaart te maken. Ik hou van alle bewegende factoren op kaarten. Ik en ook een groot fan van karen burneston. Deze inspiratie heb ik gebruikt om deze kaart te maken

monogromatic colors

de challenge van het papercabana blog is monogramatic colors. Ik ben dus door mijn stapeltje restjes gegaan en heb daar alle groen/geel tinten uit gehaald met een cadeau doosje als resultaat.

Ik heb de ronde doos van lori withlock gebruikt en daarop alleen wat rolled roses en vlinders geplakt. een eenvoudig doosje maar met een feestelijk resultaat

I used the round box of lori withlock en added some rolled roses and 3d butterfly. A simpel box but a festive result

De uitdaging van deze week op het papercabana blog is het gebruik van achtergronden. Nu is dit echt voor mij een uitdaging want ik gebruik ze niet tot nauwelijk

 

 

The challenge on the blog of papercabana is background. This is for me a real challenge because I never use them

 

 

 

 

De achtergrond die ik voor deze challenge heb gebruikt is een freebie van enige tijd geleden. Op dat moment wist ik echt niet wat ik er moest maar het resultaat mag er nu wel zij.Ik heb het formaat van de herringbone  aangepast en uitgesneden met mijn silhouette. Je krijgt dan een frame met hele fijne lijntjes. Deze heb ik met behulp van lijmspray op carstock geplakt

 

The background I used for this challenge is a freebie from a while back. At first I did not know what to do with it but now I am satisfied with the result. I adapted he size of the herringbone en cut it with my silhouette. When cut out you get a very detailed frame. I udes spray glue to glue to my cardstock.

flip flop kaart

Mijn voorraad kaartjes begon behoorlijk te slinken dus het was tijd om deze aan te vullen. Ik heb er nog geen text op gestempeld zodat hij nog voor elke gelegenheid gebruikt kan worden


My stack of cards was getting les and less. Time to make some new ones. I did not put a text on it so that I can use it for every occasion

Het is een flip flop kaartje. Als je de kaart openvouwd dan komt er dit

Ik heb in studio een rechthoek getekend van 11x28 centimeter. Ik heb in het vierkant op 7-9,5-14 cm een rillijn (stippeltjeslijn) geplaatst. Dit is de basis voor iedere kaart ongeacht welke vorm je vervolgens kiest.

In studio a made a square of 4 1/4 by 11 inch. In the quare a made scoringlines at 2 3/4 , 3 3/4 and 5,5 inch. This is de base for every card indepentant of the shape of you pick

 

Daarna heb ik een cirkel getekend van 7 centimeter en een van 5,5 centimeter. Deze zijn met behulp van de centreer functie midden in de de eerste rillijn geplaatst. Met behulp van de mesfunctie (uit de designer editie) delen weggesneden zodat er geen snijlijnen door de cirkel heen komen. Uiteindelijk komt het er dan in studio zo uit te zien:

 

After that I designed a cirkel of 3 inch and one of 2 1/4 inch. These cirkels are centered in the middle of the first scoring line. With the knife function of the designer edition  parts ar cut a way. So that er no scoringlines run through the cirkel in the smal inch part. You design should look like this:

 

 

Ik heb gekozen voor een cirkel maar je kunt natuurlijk elk gewenste vorm kiezen. Denk daarbij ook bijvoorbeeld aan een hart of een vierkant maar ook een scallop vorm. Mogelijkheden genoeg.

 

I have chosen a cirkel but you can choose any shape you want. For example a square, a heart, a scallop shape. Possibilities enough

Ik heb de uiltjes op maat gemaakt. Let wel op dat je eventueel een afbeeldingen moet spiegelen anders passen ze niet mooi op elkaar (de 2 rode uiltjes).

 

I adapted the size of the two owls. Keep in mind that some shapes have to be mirrored, otherwise they don't paste nicely on top of each other

These are my project for the first challenge of  the papercabana. The challenge is to use primary colors. I thought was my oppertunity to make it typical dutch. So there is a windmill wooden shoe and tulip. In the dutch colors white red orange and blue.

this windmill is a design of my own. It is a small giftbox in which you can put some candy as a gift for different occasions. You can find the download here.

This wooden shoe is a design of  I bought here . The roses on top of the shoe you can find here. This is one of my favorite designs and I use on many of my projects.

 

 

These tulips you can find here is one of my favorite flowers and is what many toerist come to visit the netherland for. thank you for looking and hope you participate in our challenge

trouwkaart

Maandag a.s. trouwt mijn leidinggevende, helaas kan ik daar niet heen en daarom heb ik voor het bruidspaar deze kaart gemaakt

Ik wil de kaart heel simpel houden maar toch ook wat diepte in de kaart brengen. Ik heb eerst een kader gemaakt van 15x15 cm en daar een mooie swirl in versmolten. Nadat hij uitgesneden is heb ik hem op een basis kaart geplakt van 15x15 cm. Om een perfect hart vorm te krijgen heb ik een mal gemaakt van craft en deze op de kaart geplakt. Op deze mal heb ik diverse takjes geplakt her en der wel wat handmatig bij gesneden.
